The History of Fishhook Sunrise B&B Our home sits on 10 beautiful acres that were once a part of the original 160 acre Fishhook Dairy Farm owned and operated by Lila's parents, Clyde and June Oberg, from the 1950s to the 1970s. After selling their cows in 1973, the Oberg's opened up a catering business and hosted busloads of tourists in their own home for 14 years. |
After returning from Mexico in 1997 we built our home, finished raising our 7 children, and realized that our now-empty home needed a new purpose. Lila's background in catering and our enthusiasm for sharing the splendor of our valley along with our love of meeting new people gave birth to Fishhook Sunrise B&B. In 2013 we remodeled the upper story of our home into two beautiful bedroom suites.
